It's 6AM PST.  I haven't slept yet.  No one else on the team knows that I'm writing this article.  It won't be proofread by anyone.  This is fine.  Everything is fine.  But what I have noticed is the fact that despite my ever growing quest to ignore the fact that my life is quickly slipping away from me, years continue to pass, which brings me to my actual point.  Today is December 31st, 2018.  The last day in 2018.  According to an Instagram Story I got from one of my friends, International New Year was one hour ago at the time that I'm writing this, so happy 2019! 🎉🎊🎊🎉.  But let's be real, for most of us its still early morning or afternoon, so I'm going to pretend like its still December 31st for all of us.  This is not only the last day of 2018 but the day before the start of 2019.  2019: what a big year.  Ares might do things, we may have a working frontend (that's my job, along with writing bad articles!), and most likely we'll have some kind of functioning bot, public or not.  But remember, this is all coming from an unedited, unviewed, caffeine-fueled dev op that I shouldn't even be writing, much less at 6 AM, so take anything and everything I say with 50 grains of salt.  In 18 hours, I will be basking in the glory of 2019, and for many of you readers, including a most likely very angry Sputnik Team, the time is considerably shorter.  This article, while a mess, wasn't written to be a monologue, however, so I'll get to the point.

I hope that all of you have a wonderful time celebrating and preparing for the New Year, and an even better actual NEW year.  I want to personally thank you for all of your continued support for our project.  It means a lot to me, and the rest of the team.  <3

Welp, pretending to sleep, er, doing other things calls! Have an eventful New Year, and please, if you're a member of the team reading this, don't be too mad at me... after all, it IS New Years!

Stay cool everyone,
Jonah
Sputnik Frontend Dev.
